Corporate Information Message from President and CEO

We were established as MOL Marine & Engineering Co., Ltd., (MOLMEC) following the merger of MOL Marine Co., Ltd. and MOL Engineering Co., Ltd. in April 2021. Drawing upon the extensive knowledge of the Mitsui O.S.K. Lines, Ltd. (MOL) Group, which has been operating vessels for 140 years, MOLMEC brings together highly skilled and experienced merchant marine navigators and engineers, maritime consultants, and specialists in oceanographic observation and research, on-site maritime engineering, and other fields to contribute to the safety of ports, vessels, cargo handling, and marine traffic.

We are also taking on new challenges, such as the operation of Arctic research vessels and various consulting services related to offshore wind power, backed by expertise we have gained through various crew training programs using advanced simulators, as well as observation support for submarine cable laying ships and oceanographic research vessels.

In collaboration with MOL and its group companies, MOLMEC provides unique solutions that only our extensive knowledge of the ocean and vessels can provide. We will continue to promote safety in vessel operation and cargo handling, conservation of the marine environment, and the realization of a carbon-neutral society.
